Abstract
Oral history interview with John Calhoun, class of 1966, who discusses his early life in Rochester, New York. He describes his experience at Dartmouth and his involvement in ROTC. Calhoun relates his time at Stanford Business School and later talks about the training and social dynamics in the military. He highlights his experiences from arriving in Vietnam and his progression in rank from Fire Direction Officer to Executive Officer, responsible for receiving commands from the fire directions crew and relaying them to the gun operators. Lastly, he discusses his return home.
